John B. Rosenquest IV (“Jay”) is a Partner in the Miami Office of Krinzman Huss Lubetsky Feldman & Hotte. Leveraging more than twenty years of trial experience, Jay provides tailored, cost-effective representation to corporate clients and individuals facing complex commercial litigation in a wide range of areas. He has represented businesses, individuals, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, real estate developers, and title insurance companies. A significant portion of Jay’s practice focuses on the hospitality sector – restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels, liquor stores, and other establishments that serve beer, wine, and alcoholic spirits. He serves as Outside General Counsel for start-up, emerging, and established alcoholic beverage brands.
Jay handles a wide variety of civil commercial litigation disputes and arbitrations. He has first chair trial and arbitration experience and has appeared in state and federal courtrooms across the country representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Representative matters include banking, private lending, and financial services litigation, title and real estate disputes, business-vs.- business lawsuits, partnership disputes, and business torts.
Jay is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. He is also admitted to the Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Florida. Jay formerly worked for an international, AmLaw-100 law firm in Miami, Florida, the largest law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then operated his own firm. Jay attended Davidson College and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humpreys School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served on the Law Review.
Jay has served as a pro bono attorney ad litem for children in foster care. He remains active in the community. A former public high school math and English-as-a-Second-Language teacher in an English-Spanish bilingual classroom, Jay has served on the Board of Directors for Doctor’s Charter School, a municipal charter school in Miami-Dade County, Florida, since 2018. He lives with his wife, two daughters, and a happy dog. In his free time, Jay enjoys collecting records and attending live music events.
