Joshua J. Shore, a Partner in KHL's Fort Lauderdale office, is a real property and commercial litigator, with a specialty in title insurance-related claims, including mortgage and title defects, lien priority issues, fraud and identity theft, recoupment actions and countless other variations. Josh represents business entities, individuals, lenders, and title insurance underwriters in complex real estate and commercial related matters, with clients ranging from the national to local level. He also handles some transactional work, including residential closings. Josh is regularly appointed to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in foreclosure, probate, and other real property related actions.

During his over 20 years of experience, Josh takes a dynamic and creative approach to dispute resolution, whether through litigation or mediation of commercial, real estate, foreclosure, and other related matters. Known and well respected by many title claims counsel for various underwriters, Josh is a trusted advocate for his clients who enjoys the intellectual stimulation and challenge of resolving their legal issues.

Prior to joining KHL Law in 2007, Josh clerked for Broward County longtime Circuit Judge Mark Speiser. He also worked at prior firms where he practiced insurance defense and commercial litigation.

Josh earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004 and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, as well as all United States District Courts within the State of Florida.

Outside of his practice, Josh is a devoted father of two daughters, Charlotte and Vivienne, and an avid woodworker and sports enthusiast.
